The backbone of Film by the Sea is formed by book adaptations, of which a selection of eight titles will be judged in competition by the Professional Jury. Prizes will also be awarded by a Youth Jury, an International Student Jury and three Zeeland juries. In addition, the festival will show a large number of new French-language films in the programme line Vive le cinéma!.

Due to the cancellation of his flight, Ben Diaz will not be able to attend the workshop. We keep you informed about a possible other day for the workshop to be organised.

The NSC's technical committee, in collaboration with Controllux and Astera, is organising a LED & COLOUR WORKSHOP about the technical aspects behind LED lighting (slow motion, moving heads, etc.) with BEN DIAZ: "the man who created the multi-award-winning ARRI SkyPanel X lighting system and the first IP-66 moving heads at SGM".
